July 2024 Update

We wanted to provide an update on the school and all things that are happening at Lasting Smiles. By now, 2024 is halfway over, and we are still counting our blessings and seeing God’s faithfulness! In the last half-year, we have built flush toilets, prepared and served 223,000 meals to the kids, given 620 pairs of uniforms, covered the two term’s worth of secondary school tuition for 51 students, and diligently paid our staff salaries every month. This is not the work of man, but of God!

We sincerely appreciate the Lasting Smiles U.S. Board’s unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission. As you read this today, I pray that you ask the Lord what He would have you do to be a part of what He is doing here in Uganda. Why you ask? For we have been called to do this at such a time as this. Like John 9:4 says: “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day. The night cometh when no man can work.”

Susan and I are praying for you. We are grateful for your prayers, generosity, and the heart for Lasting Smiles Uganda. I look forward to walking with you further on this journey.
